Missionary conference attended by over 1000 ministers from all parts of Ukraine took place in Slavyansk between September 15 and 18. It was the time of joy, communication, prayer, worship and God’s miracles!

During the last two years of war in eastern Ukraine, 26 missionary centers were started in the framework of «FrontLineMission» project. At the centers, volunteers have been providing spiritual and physical help to the locals suffering from war. Hundreds of missionaries are now serving on the frontlines, sharing the Gospel, giving our bread, brining humanitarian relief, food and medicines, starting children clubs and summer camps and evacuating people from the fire line. Thanks to the devoted hearts of those people of faith, a spiritual revival has started in the east of Ukraine. People are coming to churches and serving others. Their lives are being completely changed!

Over 100 people made a covenant with God through water baptism at the conference.

Nastya from Krasnogorovka (Donetsk region) was one of the people being baptized at the conference. Nastya is an orphan. Her mother died of a grave sickness when Nastya was still a baby. Nastya came to the conference with her grandmother who has been providing all of the care and support for Nastya and her brothers. God has no orphans! Nastya was baptized and she became a child of God!

Karina is another girl who was baptized at the conference. It was two years ago that she met Christian ministers at a summer camp in her home town of Mironovsky (Donetsk region). Karina has been helping with the children ministry at one of the missionary centers. She came to the conference to be baptized. It’s a joy to know that Karina’s dream came true, the Lord answered her prayers and she is happy now!

Galina Kucher, CBN-Emmanuel’s Director of Disaster Relief/Humanitarian projects in the east of Ukraine shared another story of salvation. It was the story of little boy Nickita. His father had died and his mother had disappeared under strange circumstances. Nickita experienced a terrible stress and was living with severe feeling of fear. Thankfully, God does care about the boy and he is now completely healed of his fears, he lives with his grandmother and attends school.

We are thankful to the organizers of this missionary conference. Also, we would like to thank all of the partners who have been supporting our missionary centers in the east of Ukraine through prayers and finances.
