On December 5, children and teenagers of «New Life» Church of Konstantinovka visited specialized boarding school for orphans in the town of Konstantinovka, Donetsk region, with Christmas puppet show «You are Special».

The children carefully prepared to this event with hand-made puppets, many rehearsal, selected music and recorded phonograms.

When the show started, the orphanage students were absorbed in the holiday atmosphere and actively participated in the play. They laughed and cried with the characters, felt with the heroes and waited for a miracle!

Little girl Yana who is just one of the many children who came to watch the show, shares her impressions, «I like it so much when guests come to visit us at the orphanage. Thank you for coming. We liked it very much. I loved Lucy (puppet), can you give it to me? I also liked dancing. Please, don’t leave… Stay for longer”.

«My name is Yulia, I am six and I am the first grade student. There are many children in our family and our mother cares for us by herself. She takes me home on weekends. I sometimes cry when I feel scared at nights. But I don’t want anyone to see my tears. I want all people to live and be kind to each other. I liked your concert and the candies and I won’t cry any more. Please, come visit us again!» – shares little Yulia.

«You are Special» puppet show is based on Max Lucado novel and it teaches children to be kind and compassionate. It teaches them to remember that we are all made unique and we need to accept each other with our strengths and weaknesses!

The time flew by very fast. Nobody wanted to say good-bye but there will be new meetings soon!
