Missionaries serving in the frontline towns of eastern Ukraine have shared their impressions of these events.

We had a special Easter celebration in Maryinka and children had a chance to actively participate in it. The guys have prepared several songs and acted in the “Easer for the King” play. After the performance, we continued our “family” fellowship over a cup of tea. We thank “Emmanuel” Association for the provided sweet gifts for the children”.

“Easter quest for children in Novgorodskoye. Games, competitions and prizes… The children were just happy and it’s vitally important for the kids who have been hearing the sounds of shelling and armored vehicles driving around their towns. We thank Emmanuel Association for the sports equipment.”

Teams of Orphan’s Promise/CBN-Emmanuel children ministers continue developing children ministry in eastern Ukraine. Volunteers and missionaries serving in frontline towns invite local kids to participate in various mass events, quests and competitions. Afterwards, all participants receive invitations to become regular attendants of “Superbook Clubs” and creative workshops that are functioning in many towns and villages along the frontline.

In order to make all these activities even more colorful and rememberable, Orphan’s Promise provides children clubs at missionary centers with all necessary supplies and equipment – computers and projectors, stationery and consumables, sports equipment for various fun activities outside.

Thanks to financial support provided by Mercy Corps/USAID, we were able to purchase additional equipment for children crafts and cooking clubs where children can spend their free time and learn new useful skills.

We are grateful to our Partners in children ministry for your prayers and financial support!
