The 14th Missionary School for the front-line towns was held between August 6 and September 12, in two locations – the towns of Slavyansk and Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.

22 students had a chance to undergo “Serving Children and Teenagers” training in the town of Pokrovsk. Missionaries from Lutsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Nizhyn as well as from various front-line towns had a chance to learn how to work with children and teenagers. Another specific area of this training was working with children who had experienced trauma and working out a strategy of working with younger generations in the context of a family.

CBN-Emmanuel was one of the organizers and major donors of this training: Emmanuel provided qualified trainers for the event – all of them are experienced psychologists. Teachers “Schools of Life” project conducted classes on age psychology and Internet security.

The students noted that the training was very useful and shared their impressions:

“It is really important to know the age difference in children and their psychological peculiarities”

“I really liked the topic about the age peculiarities of children and learned how to build a lesson using some simple materials

On September 13-15, a large Missionary Conference took place in the town Slavyansk, where new missionaries and children ministers received certificates of graduation from the Missionary School. After receiving blessings from ministers and bishops, missionaries went to their frontline towns to start serving children and their families in the field.

We believe the Word of God will be preached in the frontline towns of Eastern Ukraine even with greater power!

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28-19:20
