The villagers of eastern Ukraine are proud to show us their green gardens.
The vegetable seeds provided by the “Pope for Ukraine” Initiative are growing perfectly well into potatoes, carrots, onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. 

People are very careful about planting and propping the beds and watering their vegetables. A rich harvest is expected in the fall.

We thank Pope Francis and all the caring people in all the Catholic Churches who answered tthe call to help for the victims of Donbass!
