In the beginning of January, the “Unforgettable Christmas” tour was held in conflict-affected eastern Ukraine.

The team of “Emmanuel” Association has prepared a wonderful show for children and their parents as well as various activities and gifts for all of the attending kids. The purpose of the tour was to share the story of the birth of Jesus Christ and bring the kids a real Christmas mood. The plays were performed in the towns of Kamyanka, Myrne, Novotoshkivka, Lysychansk, Komyshuvaha, Popasna, Girskay, Vrubivka, Novogrodovka and Pervomayske.

About 1,000 children celebrated Christmas with the Emmanuel’s “School of Life” show team. It was a festival of joy, goodness and miracles!

320 children and 110 adults attended the “Unforgettable Christmas” show in the villages of Novotoshkivka and Lisichansk, Lugansk region. We are grateful to the Bread of Life Church from Kovel, Solid Rock Mission, Yuriy Velychko and Taras Senya for the provided gifts, literature and calendars as well as to the “Jesus Christ” Church and “The Good News” Church of Lysychansk for organizing the event.

129 children and 45 adults attended the celebration in the towns of Popasna and Komyshuvakha. W thank Maxym and Tetiana Yizhak for their prayer support and the gifts!
All children who visited the show received sweet gifts that were purchased at the expense of Emmanuel’s friends and partners. We are grateful to our facebook friends, who were the first to respond to the need. We also thank the church from the village of Mankivtsi, Vinnitsa region, and many Christians from Russia, America, France and Canada for making financial contributions towards purchasing the sweet gifts!

We thank the “Yermak” grocery store for their help in purchasing sweets, the director of the “Biblical League of Ukraine” Mikhlaylo Prokoluk, the “One Hope” mission for providing Christian literature for the kids and Kateryna Vyshnevsky’s “Rem Print” for printing leaflets and invitations!

We are grateful to all children’s ministers and missionaries who helped us organize the festive events!

Thanks to the Christmas tour, children learned more about Jesus Christ whose birth is celebrated during Christmas. We pray to God for every child in the east of Ukraine and for all the children we met during the Christmas tour. We believe that we were able to give children the hope that is in Jesus Christ and to sow the seeds of faith and goodness in their hearts that will bring good fruits in their lives in the future.

All children were invited to local Superbook clubs at missionary centers where they will continue getting to know God in the future.

Jesus was born! Let us praise Him!
